Applications:

Mineral Turpentine Oil (MTO) is widely used in the manufacturing of alkyd resin based coatings particularly in industrial and exterior finishes where high odour due to aromatic content is not disadvantageous. It is also used as a thinner for adjusting the viscosity by thinning down the Supply viscosity up to Application viscosity in both paint and varnish coatings

For Cleaning Purpose: It is also used as a general cleaning solvent as it removes oils and greases from metal surface.

Uses in Other Areas: It is also used in Ink manufacturing, House hold cleaning, Rubber solvent agent and Solvent carrier in the manufacture of both shoe and furniture polish. It is used as a domestic weedicide cable of killing almost all unwanted growth likely to be encountered.
